 | Mount Vernon mayor pleads guilty in tax case Mount Vernon Mayor Ernie Davis pleaded guilty today to not filing taxes. He admitted to two misdemeanor charges for failing to file a corporate tax return for a rental property at 14-16 Sandford Blvd. East in Mount Vernon in 2003 and a personal return for 2011. He faces up to two years in prison when he is sentenced in January. |
