News   Mount Vernon Mayor Ernie Davis gets probation on tax charges   Mount Vernon Mayor Ernie Davis has been sentenced to one-year probation and fined $10,000 on tax charges in White Plains Federal Court today. Davis pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor federal tax evasion charges in October.
