| News | | | Stewart Air National Guard Base on lockdown | | | The Stewart Air National Guard Base is on lockdown after a man threatened the base. Officials from the 105th Airlift Wing say that at 9:21 a.m., an unidentified man approached the front gate carrying a bag and stated he was looking to do harm to law enforcement personnel. The man was taken into custody and will be transported to a hospital. New York State police are in the process of screening the individual's bag, and the base remains on lockdown. | |
