*UPDATE: 618 S STANFORD AV* KNOCKDOWN: 53 FF in 27 min. Burning contents
described as large amount of "red rags and coveralls" possibly from a
cleaning business. Fire extinguished before any extension into adjacent
buildings. No injury. Firefighters holding the smoldering fire in check
and minimizing water run-off. LAFD Haz-Mat Team testing run-off and
surrounding area for possible chemicals and ensuring safety. LA County
Health & Street Maintenance requested to assist with containing run-off.
A forklift on-scene will be utilized to assist with overhaul. - Erik
