News   Source: Driver in fatal Middle Island crash was intoxicated   Police say Gustave Geyer, 25, of Ridge, was driving a pickup truck southbound on Yaphank-Middle Island Road on July 4 when he lost control and struck a Nissan Altima going northbound. Geyer was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy was conducted. A source tells News 12 the result was a blood alcohol level of .16.
