Update Structure Fire 09/16/2016 Update #StructureFire; 3:28PM; 5861 S Avalon Bl; #SouthLosAngeles; KNOCKDOWN: 84 FF in 52 mins. Fire heavily damaged a single family dwelling (to the rear) and a shed adjacent to larger commercial building. The metal-clad commercial building sustained damage but firefighters successfully saved the structure. A Mayday call was issued in the early phase of the incident for two 'missing' firefighters who became separated from their crew on the roof. Both firefighters were quickly located uninjured.
