News   1 NYPD sergeant killed, 1 hurt in Bronx shootout; suspect dead   One NYPD sergeant has died and another was wounded in a shootout with a suspect in the Bronx Friday, according to sources. Police say the suspect was killed in an exchange of gunfire. Dozens of officers converged on two scenes, located at Noble Avenue and at Beach Avenue Friday afternoon around 2:45 p.m.
