Update Traffic Collision 11/13/2016 Update #TrafficCollision; 6:26PM; 23700 Vanowen St; 2 vehicle collision (passenger vehicle vs passenger vehicle) with one vehicle destroyed; 2 persons (NFD) dead and still trapped in that wreckage; From other vehicle = 1 Adult F with non-life threat injury, taken to hospital (in undetermined condition); Collision toppled traffic signal, downed high voltage electric wires and sheared fire hydrant; Water energized and flow from hydrant/electricity will be stopped with expert assistance of LADWP officials en route (no ETA); #LATraffic: Full closure of intersection (Platt Av & Vanowen St) to all vehicle traffic in all directions until investigation complete; Unknown duration; Motorists: expect congestion and delay, avoid area and consider alternate route; Detours available; NFD; Brian Humphrey         Click here to safely unsubscribe from "Alerts Feed."
