News   Aging Indian Point nuclear plant to close by 2021   The aging Indian Point nuclear power plant in Buchanan will close in 2021 under a deal with Entergy and Gov. Andrew Cuomo. In a statement, plant owner and operator Entergy says the "early and orderly shutdown is a part of a settlement under which New York State has agreed to drop legal challenges and support the renewal of licenses for Indian Point."
