Update #Investigation; 3:22PM; LA RIVER X N LOS FELIZ BL; A LAFD Swift Water Team boarded an inflatable boat and strategically crossed the river, located a blue sleeping bag near bamboo on an island, and confirmed no one was inside. Firefighters removed the bag to thwart any additional concerned citizens calling 911. A LAFD helicopter thoroughly flew over the area and ensured no victims were stranded on the island.
