Fierce winds cause damage in Suffolk; LIRR service halted on part of Montauk branch   Sunday's storms that packed fierce winds, hail and heavy rain have led to damage across Suffolk County. A fallen tree on the tracks has suspended LIRR service on the Montauk branch between Babylon and Patchogue.
