News   Lawyer: No indictment in chokehold death   A grand jury has decided not to indict the NYPD officer involved in the apparent chokehold death of a Staten Island man, a lawyer has confirmed. Eric Garner died during an arrest back in July for suspicion of selling loose cigarettes. The incident was caught on cellphone video that quickly went viral, sparking protests around the city.
