News   Finch drops out of Bridgeport mayoral race   Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch announced today he will drop out of the race for mayor. Finch said at a news conference this afternoon he will back the petitioning campaign of businesswoman Mary Jane Foster. Finch narrowly lost the Democratic primary earlier this month to former Mayor Joe Ganim.
