*CORRECTION* Advisory 02/11/2016

*CORRECTION* #Advisory; 1:52PM; Los Angeles International Airport; https://goo.gl/maps/LQv1uNYG4yB2; #LAX/TerminalArea; To correct earlier LAFD report(s): American Airlines Flight 564 from San Jose, CA to Phoenix AZ diverted to Los Angeles due to what the airline describes as a mechanical issue aboard the Airbus A319 with 125 passengers and a crew of five (123 passengers, 2 infants, 2 pilots, 3 flight attendants). The plane landed safely on LAX Runway 25R at 10:59AM, and taxied to the gate, where all occupants calmly and safely exited the aircraft. Eight persons (7 passengers + 1 flight attendant) approached LAFD personnel for medical advice after experiencing subjective respiratory irritation from an unspecified odor aboard the aircraft. Following on-site consultation, 7 immediately declined further treatment or transportation. One woman however, requested ambulance transport for further evaluation. Before entering the ambulance though, she changed her mind - bringing the corrected total to eight persons evaluated (not treated) at scene and NO ambulance transports. Additional information regarding the aircraft and crew, as well as passenger travel status, should be sought through American Airlines.; Brian Humphrey
