News   LIRR: 26 rush hour trains canceled due to derailment   The Long Island Rail Road says 26 rush hour trains from Penn Station will be canceled or diverted as Amtrak continues work on tracks damaged from the NJ Transit derailment. The LIRR plans to operate the evening-rush hour schedule used on Monday. The schedule included 18 trains canceled from Penn Station between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and eight others diverted to originate elsewhere.
