Pedestrian fatally struck while crossing Major Deegan Expressway

 

A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle on the Major Deegan Expressway overnight. Police say the man was crossing the highway just south of the Yonkers-Bronx border shortly after midnight. They say the man was struck by at least one vehicle.
