Police confirm Newark police lieutenant fatally shot ex-wife in Morris County home   Police have confirmed a 24-year-veteran of the Newark police department went into the Jefferson Township home of his ex-wife and opened fire, killing her, and leaving her boyfriend with unknown injuries.
