Update Confined Space Rescue 01/17/2017 Update #ConfinedSpaceRescue; 3:09PM; 755 S Spring St; #DTLA 30M patient was initially conscious and talking but is now unresponsive. The LAFD is quickly setting up the equipment required to safely make entry into the tank and rescue the patient. This 'confined space' rescue is regulated by federal safety laws that protect both the rescuers and the victims to ensure it is performed without further harm. 71 FFs on scene.
