| News | | | Police: Boy dies after falling 30 feet down elevator shaft in BK | | | A 4-year-old boy who fell 30 feet down an elevator shaft inside a parking garage in Brooklyn has died, according to police. The boy was rushed to Methodist Hospital where he was listed in critical and then stable condition, but police have confirmed the boy later died. It happened at 841 Union St. near 7th Avenue around 8 p.m. Wednesday in Park Slope. Police say they responded to a 911 call for a rescue inside the six-story parking garage. |
